This session, based on the latest StewartBrown Disability Services Benchmark FY24 Survey, will explore key insights into staffing efficiencies, workforce mix, and practical cost-saving measures.

Participants will gain actionable strategies to optimise workforce utilisation, improve rostering efficiency, and reduce unnecessary expenditure. We'll cover how to align direct support worker (DSW) costs with revenue targets, assess supervision ratios, and navigate the impact of NDIS pricing structures.

Through real-world case studies and data-driven insights, this session will provide providers with the tools to enhance financial viability while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Is Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) the path to your vision? will be an interactive and practical session which will give you a takeaway tool and some useful models to determine whether Mergers or Acquisitions are the right way to achieve your organisation’s vision. This interactive discussion will focus on how to determine what is important to your organisation and how to find partners who align to your vision.

Sharing these insights aims to help shape a strong way forward for service providers, employees, and the community they serve.

This session will explore a self-evaluation tool designed to help organisations access and enhance their quality of service. The tool outlines 10 key rights, serving as a framework for strategic discussions, board assessments, and operational improvements. 
This session will introduce the tools the Possability Group have used to make sure that the voices of the people we support are heard loud and clear.  We discuss the ways that client visits and the development of a Client Advisory Group have made positive changes for the people we support, the people who deliver supports, and the organisation as a whole.  
How does your organisation listen to those you support? Building a strong client voice is essential to ensure you provide services that truly meet their needs. This panel of experts will offer diverse perspectives and practical tips on how to effectively incorporate the client’s voice.
