Ruth is CEO of NOSS Tasmania, a not-for-profit provider of disability support and employment. NOSS has been partnering with people in Northern Tasmania for nearly 35 years. It provides community access services and has a social enterprise called Bluegum Grounds Maintenance that delivers broad acre grounds maintenance to major customers such as Hydro Tasmania.
Ruth has been with the organisation for six years. With a background in speech pathology, she went on to gain masters’ degrees in Health Services Management and in Business Administration. Ruth’s values based and purpose-driven focus leads her to seek to build capacity in those whom she serves, and in her organisation.
