Alex Buckley is the Branch Manager of Disability Employment Policy within the Department of Social Services. Alex’s role includes policy development, program management and implementation of employment supports for people with disability. She brings a wealth of experience across the public sector, particularly in employment and industry focused policy reform. Recently Alex’s team have leveraged a wealth of stakeholder consultation and public reviews to develop policy for Inclusive Employment Australia and establish the Centre of Inclusive Employment. Work is underway to assist the supported employment sector evolve to increase the range of employment opportunities and pathways for people with high support needs.
