Martin is the Chief Executive of nib Thrive, leading nib’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) business, managing almost 40,000 NDIS participants. In 2022, nib raised $158.1M in capital to enter the NDIS sector and has since acquired six plan management businesses, a digital marketplace known as Kynd, and a support coordination business to align with the sector’s vision of a single navigator to help participants get the most from their plans. Martin first joined nib in 2013 and has worked in a number of senior leadership roles across nib corporate and health businesses. Martin was the Group Chief People Officer for nib Group where he was responsible for driving and leading our people agenda, including our diversity and inclusion strategy. He also led the successful integration of GU health, our corporate health business, into the nib Group following its acquisition in 2017.
